Here I go again ...

Well folks, it has been one heck of a new year for me.
Incase you did not know, in mid December I lost my job at Oregon Urology. It was a bit of a shock. When I asked for a reason they could not give me one, but as an at will employee they did not have to. Doesn't matter, I know why. I knew too much, and that made one lazy spiky haired *itch co-worker nervous, a moron manager uncomfortable, and the other fraudulent manager vulnerbale. So the morning the auditors came, I was excused before I could blow their cover.
I found a job quick enough at another office in an unrelated field. I hated it. The people were absolutely cruel to each other, had no class what so ever, offered very little training, and did not know the first thing about customer service. I quit once, they begged me to come back, I gave it another month, and quit again.
So for the last month I have been unemployed. Sort of. I decided that although pay was not great, I would go back into retail and got hired on by a large store (where you get the MAXX for your money) and will be setting up and opening their new store in Eugene. I decided that I much rather work for minimum wage in customer service than deal with the ignorant and caddy women in small offices.
I am actually looking forward to starting this new job and think I will enjoy the work. I am sure it will not take long for me to move up, as they have already talked to me about doing so.
I have to thank God for the fact that John is:
1. Here
2. So supportive.
He never once questioned me quitting this last job. I was so miserable and working far too many hours to fix the disaster they called an office.
I know that my strongest attributes are communication, customer service, and staff management. So I am going to go to a job where I can use those skills.
So that is your update. I am sure I will have plenty of stories for you!
