uh ... the boy is born for the water.

So Corey is in the 10 and under State Championships this weekend. We were prepared for three events.
50 Fly
100 IM
100 Free
Tonight we found out that he also qualified for another event along the way and we did not notice, so he is also swimming the
100 Fly
Is he nervous? Nope, not so far. Is he excited? A little? Is he proud of himself? Yes, absolutely.
Am I nervous? Yep, very. Am I excited? Very! Am I proud of him? UH....HELLO!!!!
This bragging mom will keep you updated.

So.......the potential for greatness is in all of us, but some of us shine at younger ages than others!!! Corey is one of those swimmers that is a pleasure to watch! His form is pleasing to the eye, his focus is certain, his confidence is apparent, and he LOVES it!!! Boy do I love to watch him swim.......have I said that already? What a great weekend this is going to be! What a blessing to be a part of it. And....I must say, how proud I am of his mother!!! She is a fabulous support system for him, and a wonderful Chairman for the Hostess committee.....you go girl!!

GO TEAM SOLARI!!! That is really exciting news! It was fun to see him the other day and to see that he is such a fun kid! Please give us the results on the blog. Send me an e-mail and let me know where the races will be held...maybe I can sneak over there between moving and unloading??
