Shock wave

Yesterday a co-worker died. Her name is Terri. She got sick very quickly and was gone suddenly. Some of the people we work with knew her as many as 20 years. I knew her just over 5 months. She was amazing. So full of spunk. A belly full of fire.
Terri was an amazing employee and a great storey teller. She made me laugh and I really enjoyed working with her. She was kind of a neighbor. We had this thing where I would honk as I drove by her house and the next day she would say, "Heard ya honkin' girl".
In the short 5 months I knew her I came to respect her a great deal and it hit kinda hard when we got the news yesterday. I can't imagine what it is like for those who worked with her for 5 years. It is amazing how much of an impact a co-worker has on the environment.
She will be very greatly missed.

Terri gave me hugs, just because...I will miss her, too!

I am so sorry to hear about your co-worker. It says a lot about what kind of person she must have been, if she could leave such a strong impression on those around her.
