Time goes by

There have been so many changes in our life since my last blog entry. And I will spare you all the details. (They are sorted, but not juicy, so don't fret.)
What is important to know is that Corey and I are single again, and doing so much better. I do not regret the last 5 years, or the relationship itself, but I am at peace with letting it go and happy to be moving on. I don't wish to bad mouth anyone, or hear any criticism about him or our relationship. I am thankful for what we had, and for the wisdom to see beyond it. I am a stronger and better person for it. And for many of those 5 years I was happy. If a relationship must come to an end, you can't ask for more than that.
That being said ...
Corey is still swimming in the top 10 of his peers. He placing well, and still enjoying every minute of it. He starts 5th grade this week. He is in the TAG (talented and gifted program) and spent his summer in the FAL program (fun and lazy).
He and I went to camp where shared a lot of mom and son time. We zip lined and laughed a lot! Yes folks, big chicken Cindy got on a zip line and screamed her fanny off all the way down. Corey proceeded to laugh his fanny off at my expense, and loves to show that Video. Yes there is video. Corey zip lined as well, and no, not a peep of fear out of him.
We have been doing a lot of wonderful things together. It is nice to feel free to devote my time to him with out feeling guilty.
I have been going to concerts (80's Bands still have it) and even taking some dance classes. Tango anyone?
I have a job that I love. I can not say that enough. I LOVE MY JOB!!!!
Corey and I are growing and flowering. Sometimes all you need is to move out of the shade and catch a little more sunshine.
We have found our smiles again. We are finding all the happy things in life to focus on. And what we have discovered is that there is a lot of happy out there.
We continue to miss our family and friends that are so far away. But we carry you all in our thoughts and prayers.
