Sometimes, Life is Grand!
Well loved ones, I will start with my Corey Update.
He took 5th in the state for the 50 Fly.
He took 10th in the state for the 100IM
He took 14th in the state both the 50 Free and the 100 Free.
He will be competing against over 100 kids from 7 states at sectionals in Washington in the 50 Fly.
He is enjoying the Violin.
He is still committed to Safety Patrol.
He is excelling in the TAG program. (Talented and Gifted Students)
He and I are both addicted to Laser Tag. We did this for my birthday ... now we want to do it on a regular basis!
We have cut out a lot of TV time and have spent a lot of time doing puzzles, games, and other activities.
Now, my update.
My birthday was a blast. Several friends with kids came, and we had a great time with golf, laser tag, pizza. Brenda made me a GIANT Pink Panther Cake. It was beautiful. Only it wasn't a cake, under all that beautiful art work was a brownie! It was amazing!
Then we adults went out to celebrate with some dancing. It was so much fun. The DJ allowed us to stay even after the club closed because my group was fun to watch dance and such. It was a great night, with good friends, lots of dancing, sexy men, and great atmosphere.
(right up until my phone was stolen. but I won't go into that!)
I have a lot of theater stuff coming up. I am working on some readings right now. Then an audition. If I do not get the part I will stage manage. Then I have some other opportunities elsewhere that I may take. Plus I have talked to a couple of people about a huge project I want to start with the non profit I work for. It will be developing a play that will be written, produced, staged and acted by our clients. (those suffering from mental illness and brain injury.) This will be a project that could take a couple of years to do.
My personal life is going well. I am making new friends, and holding tight to the old tried and true. The new friendships are very fulfilling and refreshing. I am experiencing a new look at a few old subjects that I may have missed if it weren't for a couple of these new friendships. (thank you moe,sam,brenda, vicki). I am trying to allow myself to really take a lot of things in. I am opening my spirit to change(brenda and vicki are key in this process) my soul to reflection and development (sam and moe are key here) and increase my awareness and confidence as a woman (big thanks to sam the man, neesie, and pen-wah).
And I am trying to adjust to a change in some other relationships. Important changes in important relationships. That takes more time and is greatly assisted by those listed above.
So in all ... life is ... moving along just as it should.
