ain't that about a @#%$& !!!!!

My computer crashed. I mean there is nothing left. It is gone. I am hoping to find someone who can retrieve some things off my hard drive, but that will be a long shot at best.
I guess I know what my tax return will be going to.
Until then, I am with out access to the cyber world. Funny how odd that feels. Kind of the way it feels when you don't have a phone. It is silly really. You can live with out either of these items, and yet, we feel like we can't.
Today I am using my parents computer. That feels odd too. We all set up our own computers differently. Like you would your kitchen or something. And you just feel out of sorts working on someone else's system. Although it all does the same thing, it just feels "off" somehow. Much like when you drive someone else's car. It just feels different. It handles different. You are more comfortable with your own. The seat is adjusted correctly, the radio is on the right station, the controls are at a comfortable distance, everything is just more suited for you and your personal tastes.
I get to start that all over again with a new computer. That too seems like a daunting task. Like moving into a new house. It takes awhile to get everything where you want it. You have to settle in, get a feel for things, adjust things a little, make it home.
All this over a computer. Shhhheeesssshhhh.
